3 lbs of chicken wings
2 eggs beaten
1 cup of flour
1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper
1 cup of butter
1 bottle of Gramma Bep's Cranberry Zinger Salad Dressing
Cut tips off wings, then cut remaining wings in half. Dip wing sections into slightly beaten egg whites, then coat with the flour and cayenne mixture.
Fry in butter until brown and crisp.
Place in roasting pan and spoon Gramma Bep's Cranberry Zinger Salad Dressing over chicken frequently.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 to 1 hour. Spoon sauce over frequently.
Gramma Bep's Deep Fried Potato Balls
2 cups of leftover mash potatoes
6 tbs. of flour
2 tsp. of baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. of grated onion
1/2 tsp. of Gramma Bep's Steak Spice
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
Drop by spoonful into hot oil until golden brown.
Remove with slotted spoon and drain.
Serve hot!

Gramma Bep's Corn Chowder Soup
3/4 cup of bacon cubes
1/4 cup of onions (chopped)
1/4 cup of bacon drippings
1/4 cup of flour
5 cups of skim milk
300 grams (8 oz) frozen hash browns
30 ounces of creamed corn
1 tsp. of Gramma Bep's Seasoned Salt
Saute bacon and onions until brown and remove from frying pan.
Add flour to bacon drippings, blend well making a smooth paste.
On medium heat, add milk (slowly) to flour paste, stirring constantly.
Add potatoes, corn, bacon, onions, salt. Heat through.
DO NOT BOIL or it will curdle.
Gramma Bep's Marinated Carrot Salad
3 lb. carrots, cleaned and cut into long strips
2 onions thinly sliced
1 green pepper cut into strips
6 celery stalks cut diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
1 - 250ml container of Gramma Bep's Cranberry Zinger Salad Dressing
Marinate with 1 - 250 ml container of Gramma Bep's Cranberry Zinger Salad Dressing for at least 24 hours before serving (overnight will do if you are rushed).
Gramma Bep's Garlic Fettucini Alfredo
1/2 lb (250g) Fettucini or Spaghetti
1 cup (250ml) 2% of cottage cheese
1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 tsp. (1ml) nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1/2 cup (125ml) of chopped fresh parsely
4 ounces (125ml) of chopped Gramma Bep's Pickled Garlic
In a large pot of boiling water, cook fettucini until tender but firm. Drain and return to saucepan.
In a processor or blender, process cottage cheese until smooth, add parmesan cheese, milk, egg, nutmeg, and pepper. Blend until smooth. Pour over hot cooked pasta.
Cook over medium heat for approximately 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour into large serving dish, sprinkle with parsley and chopped pickled garlic.
Serve immediately! You need only a fresh salad and garlic or cheese toast for a complete, and easy meal.
Serves four.
Gramma Bep's Meatloaf with Sauce
2/3 cup of breadcrumbs
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups of ground beef
1/4 cup of grated onion
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. of pepper
1 tsp. of Gramma Bep's Steak Spice
1 bottle of Gramma Bep's Cranberry B.B.Q. Sauce
Soak breadcrumbs in milk for approximately 10 minutes.
In second bowl, combine meat, eggs, onions, and seasonings. Add milk mixture and mix all together.
Put into greased loaf pan. Pat flat on top and cover with Gramma Bep's Cranberry B.B.Q. Sauce.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Spoon sauce over frequently.
Experience the difference!
Gramma Bep's Feather Weight Pancakes
1 1/4 cups of flour
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp. of baking powder
2 tbsp. of sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup of milk or buttermilk
2 tbsp. of margarine
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add remaining ingredients and mix until batter is smooth.
Bake in greased frying pan. Frying pan should be HOT!
Cook pancakes until they have bubbles on top, turn, and bake other side.
Serve with butter and Gramma Bep's Chokecherry or Saskatoon Berry Pancake Syrup.
Gramma Bep's Saskatoon Berry Cream Cheese Tarts
3 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese
1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
2 tbsp. of lemon juice
2 tsp. of vanilla
1 package of vanilla wafers
2 - 250 ml (8 oz) jars of Gramma Bep's Saskatoon Berry Dessert Sauce
Cream softened cream cheese, adding sugar gradually.
Continue beating and add slightly beaten eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla.
Use small cupcake papers and place one wafer, flat side down, into each cupcake paper. Fill 2/3 full with cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Top with Gramma Bep's Saskatoon Berry Dessert Sauce.
These may be frozen. Take out of freezer just before serving
Yield: Approximately 40 medium sized individual cheese cakes.
